WHO WE ARE

THE DEVELOPMENT ROOM provides story and project development for film and selected television projects at script and early development stage. We offer professional script editing and script development services for independent film projects, alongside project-level development support for film and television.

Based in London, we work with writers, producers and creative teams in the UK by supporting film project development throughout - from editing and developing scripts to refining concepts and shaping projects for further development and production. Our focus is on story, structure and project clarity.

Services include development-led script editing, project development, pitch and presentation development, and creative advisory, as well as preparing and refining pitch decks, written materials and development packages for industry-facing use.
